Size guide: How to measure your foot to choose the right size
Why is it essential to measure your feet correctly?
Choosing the right size is key to everyday comfort. A well-fitting shoe prevents pain, blisters, and posture problems. Taking a few minutes to measure your foot correctly will save you disappointment and unnecessary returns. Follow our simple and accurate guide!
📏 How to measure your foot in 4 easy steps
Step 1: Prepare your materials
You will need:
A sheet of A4 paper (or larger)
A pencil or pen
A ruler or tape measure
A flat wall
Step 2: Position yourself correctly.
Measure your feet at the end of the day, as they tend to swell slightly. Wear the socks you would normally wear with your shoes. Stand with your weight evenly distributed on both feet.
Step 3: Trace the outline of your foot
Place the sheet of paper against a wall. Place your foot on it, with your heel against the wall. Trace the outline of your foot, keeping the pencil vertical. Repeat for the other foot (they may be slightly different sizes!).
Step 4: Measure the length
Measure the distance from the tip of your heel to the tip of your longest toe. Write down this measurement in millimeters or centimeters. If your feet are different sizes, choose the measurement of the larger foot.

👣 Advice based on your foot shape
Every foot is unique! Here are our recommendations to help you choose the right size:
Normal foot: Choose the size that corresponds exactly to your measurement
Bunion (hallux valgus): Choose +1 size for greater comfort
Long toes: Go up one size to prevent your toes from touching the front of the shoe.
Wide feet: Go up one size or choose our wide-fit models.
Narrow feet: Go down one size or use an insole for better support.
High instep: Go up one size to avoid compression on the top of the foot.
💡 Our expert advice
Between sizes? Always go for the larger size. A little extra space is better than a shoe that's too tight.
Measure both feet: It's normal to have one foot slightly larger than the other. Base your size on the larger foot.
Time of day: Measure your feet at the end of the day when they are slightly swollen.
With socks: Wear the socks you will be wearing with your shoes when measuring.
Check regularly: Your foot size may change with age, pregnancy, or weight changes.
❓ Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between EU and US sizes?
European (EU) and US sizes use different measurement systems. Our conversion chart allows you to easily convert between the two. EU sizes are generally more accurate and are used in France.
My feet are different sizes, what should I do?
This is completely normal! Always choose the size that corresponds to your larger foot to ensure optimal comfort.
How do I know if a shoe is the right size once I receive it?
Once you put the shoe on, you should be able to move your toes freely. There should be about 1 cm of space between your longest toe and the tip of the shoe. Your heel should not slip when you walk.
Can I exchange my shoes if the size doesn't fit?
Yes! We accept returns and exchanges within 30 days of your order. See our return policy for more details.
